Slava’s Snowshow Returns to Singapore: The Olivier Award-Winning Spectacle Takes Over Marina Bay Sands in July 2026

Slava’s Snowshow, the Olivier Award-winning masterpiece beloved by millions, will return for a limited season at the Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands from 15 July 2026. Presented by Base Entertainment Asia, the internationally acclaimed production makes its long-awaited comeback following sold-out runs in 2012 and 2022.

Tickets are now on sale via Marina Bay Sands Ticketing, SISTIC, and Klook, with a series of early-bird promotions available through 28 December.

A Magical, Award-Winning Journey Through Clowning and Imagination

Created by legendary Russian clown Slava Polunin, celebrated by The London Times as “The Greatest Clown in the World”, Slava’s Snowshow has enchanted more than 12 million people across 225 cities in 40 countries since its 1996 debut at the Edinburgh Festival.

The production has received over 20 international awards, including:

  • Laurence Olivier Award for Best Entertainment
  • Drama Desk Award
  • Triumph Award
  • Golden Nose Award
  • Tony Award nomination for Best Special Theatrical Event

Its enduring popularity lies in its universal, wordless storytelling: a dream-like world of whimsy, absurdity, and playful chaos that transcends age, language, and culture.

A Theatrical Snowstorm Like No Other

Audiences entering Slava’s universe can expect a visually breathtaking and emotionally rich experience:

  • A giant spiderweb of white threads stretching from stage to audience
  • Gusts of wind and swirling snow filling the theatre
  • Bright, mischievous clowns guiding spectators through moments of silliness and wonder
  • Giant balloons bouncing across the crowd
  • A poignant farewell scene at a railway platform
  • A snowstorm finale so spectacular it has become one of modern theatre’s most iconic moments

Slava’s signature yellow clown, Assissai, sets the tone for a production that celebrates the childlike joy hidden in everyone. The show’s magic lies in its intimate, non-verbal connection with the audience: a quiet, shared understanding that brings strangers together in laughter and awe.

Slava’s creative influence extends far beyond this show; he previously developed all clown acts for Cirque du Soleil’s Alegria, and continues to lead large-scale artistic collaborations worldwide.

Singapore Welcomes Back a Beloved Classic

After two highly praised seasons in Singapore, Slava’s Snowshow returns as one of 2026’s must-see theatre events. Families, theatre lovers, and anyone ready for a bit of mind-opening magic will find themselves transported into a surreal, beautiful blizzard of imagination.
