The Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon (SCSM) 2025 returned with a refreshed format and an electrifying burst of energy, as thousands of runners took over the city across the Half Marathon, 5km, and Kids Dash categories. With the rallying call “Make That Finish Line Yours”, this year’s event introduced a brand-new two-day race structure.

A Fresh Format and a Scenic Run Through the City

Runners painted the streets in vibrant shades of blue and green with SCSM’s signature singlets as they sped past Singapore’s most iconic sights.

The Half Marathon kicked off bright and early at 4:30am from the F1 Pit Building. Participants took on the 21.1km challenge past the National Stadium, Esplanade, and Marina Barrage, before making their triumphant finish at the historic Padang.

At 6:30am, the 5km race followed with its own scenic journey through Suntec City, One Fullerton, and Anderson Bridge, a route where modern city charm met rich heritage in every stride.

Finally, the morning wrapped up on a heartwarming note with the Kids Dash at 9am, lighting up Connaught Drive with endless laughter. Young runners, aged 12 and under, sprinted through their 800-metre course to the cheers of family and friends, proudly collecting their finisher medals at the finish line.
