Scoot Expands Southeast Asia Network with Four New Indonesian Routes

Low-cost carrier Scoot is charting new skies with the launch of flight services to four vibrant destinations in Indonesia: Labuan Bajo, Medan, Palembang, and Semarang. The routes will roll out progressively from December 2025 to February 2026, strengthening the airline’s Indonesian network and opening up more travel possibilities for holidaymakers and business travellers alike.

New Routes and Launch Dates

  • Labuan Bajo – Starting 21 December 2025, Scoot will fly twice weekly on Embraer E190-E2 aircraft to this coastal paradise, the gateway to Komodo National Park and home to stunning coral reefs and panoramic island views.
  • Medan – From 1 February 2026, daily flights on Airbus A320 aircraft will connect travellers to the capital of North Sumatra, offering easy access to Lake Toba and iconic landmarks like Maimun Palace and Tjong A Fie Mansion.
  • Palembang – Four weekly flights will begin 15 January 2026 on Embraer E190-E2 aircraft to one of Indonesia’s oldest cities, rich in history and culinary heritage.
  • Semarang – Flights will commence 23 December 2025 with three weekly services on Airbus A320 aircraft, increasing to four weekly flights from 1 January 2026, giving travellers a gateway to Central Java’s Dutch colonial charm and cultural treasures.

Attractive Launch Fares

Travellers can enjoy one-way Economy Class fares from:

  • SGD170 to Labuan Bajo
  • SGD108 to Medan
  • SGD129 to Palembang
  • SGD125 to Semarang

Tickets are now available via Scoot’s website, mobile app, and other channels.

Strengthening Regional Connectivity

With these additions, Scoot will operate over 120 weekly flights to 15 Indonesian cities by February 2026, expanding its network to 83 destinations across 18 countries and territories.

In anticipation of peak travel demand, Scoot is also ramping up flight frequencies across the region:

  • Indonesia: More flights to Jakarta, Manado, Surabaya, Bali, and Yogyakarta.
  • Thailand: Additional services to Bangkok and Koh Samui.
  • Malaysia: Increased flights to Penang, Kota Kinabalu, and Kuching.
  • Laos: More weekly flights to Vientiane.

All flight schedules are subject to regulatory approvals and may be adjusted accordingly.
