KROMO Bangkok, Curio Collection by Hilton Debuts as a Gem in the Heart of Sukhumvit

Hilton has officially unveiled KROMO Bangkok, Curio Collection by Hilton, marking the arrival of its acclaimed lifestyle brand in Thailand. Rising along Sukhumvit Soi 29, this 28-storey architectural marvel brings a fresh expression of design, storytelling, and Thai artistry to Bangkok’s dynamic cityscape.

A Celebration of Thai Creativity and Craft

Drawing inspiration from Bangkok’s ceremonial name, “The City of Nine Gems,” KROMO Bangkok reimagines the city as a modern-day cabinet of wonders. Designed by Thai creatives from DIN Studio, the hotel unfolds as a sensory journey where every space reveals a new ‘gem’ through art, texture, and light.

Guests are greeted by a diamond-inspired façade that catches the sun’s brilliance before stepping into the emerald-toned lobby on the 10th floor. Here, sculptural clouds by Korakot Aromdee, whimsical seed sculptures by PATAPiAN, and glowing lamps by Angel Hat create a tranquil escape above the city.

Creative expressions continue through the Vilah Social Creative Space, where luminous panels evoke the glow of cat’s eye chrysoberyl, and handcrafted installations by LIKAYBINDERY and Studio JEW+ bring playful artistry to the experience. Even the elevators transform into serene spaces with moonstone-inspired lighting that mirrors lunar phases, while the hallways feature loqa’s bespoke recycled tiles symbolizing the moon’s cycle.

Artistic Design Meets Boutique Hospitality

Throughout the hotel, Thai artists including Pichaya Osothcharoenpol and Studio JEW+ have turned transitional areas into living canvases, blending contemporary design with local culture. The 306 guest rooms and suites, designed by LuxeLife Studio, exude calm and character in ruby tones reminiscent of Bangkok’s sunsets. Subtle details, like sunbird-inspired carpet textures and illustrations by Nakrob Moonmanas hidden within drawers and bathrobes, invite guests to uncover art in unexpected places.

Rooftop Escapes and French-Inspired Dining

On the 28th floor, the rooftop pool captures the luminous hues of zircon, glowing at dusk as orange-red light dances across the water, framing panoramic views of Bangkok’s skyline.

At Colette, the hotel’s French-inspired bistro and bar, the story deepens. Designed in warm “Kapi” tones that reference Sukhumvit’s origins, the space features Pin Metal Art’s dynamic sculptures of Siamese fighting fish and woven installations by Jarupatcha Achavasmit. The menu blends French flair with local sensibilities, offering signature dishes like Siam Benedict, Colette French Toast, and Steak Frites, alongside tropical desserts such as Pandan and Coconut Madeleines. Guests can pair their meals with fashion capital–inspired cocktails and curated natural wines.

A Jewel in Hilton’s Global Collection

As part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, KROMO Bangkok invites travelers to discover a design-driven stay that celebrates individuality, artistry, and connection. Hilton Honors members enjoy exclusive benefits, from flexible point-redemption options to digital check-in and room access via the Hilton Honors app.
