City Square Mall Celebrates World Mental Health Day with Sweet Treats, Student Perks, and Exclusive Dining Deals

City Square Mall is bringing smiles to shoppers this October with a month-long line-up of initiatives in support of World Mental Health Day. In partnership with Silver Ribbon Singapore (SRS), FairPrice Supermarket, and Don Don Donki, the family-friendly mall is offering sweet giveaways, student perks, and nourishing dining deals, all designed to brighten moods and promote mental wellness.

Earlier this year, the mall was once again recognised with the Silver Ribbon Mental Health Award under the Community, Culture, and Sports category, its third consecutive win since 2023, for its continuous efforts in championing mental health awareness. Now, the celebrations continue with new community-focused initiatives.

Free Ice Cream Giveaway on 10/10

On 10 October 2025 at 10.10am, the mall will be handing out free ice cream, sponsored by FairPrice Supermarket, to the first 600 shoppers. The giveaway will take place at the L1 Atrium in front of Cedele, served from the retro Kombi Rocks van, creating a fun, photo-worthy experience. Guest of Honour Dr. Wan Rizal, Co-chairperson of the PAP Mental Health Group, will join City Square Mall’s General Manager George Chan and Silver Ribbon’s Executive Director Porsche Poh to personally distribute the treats.

Exam-Season Boosts for Students

From 3 to 31 October 2025, students can pick up a complimentary sweet treat at the B2 Customer Service Counter simply by flashing their student pass. Each comes in a special wrapper with words of encouragement and self-care tips, a small gesture to help beat exam stress.
