SRA Singapore Retail Awards Gala Night 2025_Launch of Singapore Retail Festival by GOH Ms Low Yen Ling and SRA President, Ernie Koh and VIPs
The spotlight shone on Singapore’s retail leaders as the Singapore Retailers Association (SRA) hosted the SRA Retail Awards 2025 at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore. The evening not only honoured excellence across the industry but also marked the official launch of the inaugural Singapore Retail Festival (SRF).
Graced by Ms Low Yen Ling, Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry and Culture, Community and Youth, the gala night celebrated resilience, innovation, and leadership in a sector undergoing rapid transformation amid shifting consumer expectations, digital disruption, and sustainability goals.
Awards were presented across 19 categories, spanning department stores, supermarkets, fashion, lifestyle, beauty, home, and electronics. Key accolades included Department Store of the Year, Experiential Store of the Year, Pop-Up Experience of the Year, Retail Leader of the Year, and the People’s Choice Retailer of the Year.
A highlight was the Workforce Transformation Award, presented in partnership with Workforce Singapore, recognising retailers who have redefined jobs and invested in employee training to future-proof the sector.
The evening also heralded the arrival of the Singapore Retail Festival (26 September – 12 October 2025), a nationwide celebration coinciding with Singapore’s 60th year of independence and the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 2025. The festival aims to reignite consumer excitement in physical retail by offering immersive, value-driven experiences beyond discounts.
Festival highlights include:
Orchard Road will be transformed into a vibrant playground with immersive pop-up showcases outside ION Orchard, featuring rotating brands that invite shoppers to rediscover the joy of in-person retail.
With over 3,000 participating stores and major partners including CapitaLand, Far East Organization, Lendlease, Takashimaya, WEAVE at Resorts World Sentosa, and Wisma Atria, the SRF is a rallying point for the industry. Retail icons such as TANGS, Metro, OG, BHG, alongside brands like Watson’s, Crocs, Swarovski, Eu Yan Sang, Harvey Norman, GINLEE, Pet Lovers Centre, and TC Acoustic, will showcase Singapore’s retail diversity.
