[Review] New Fortuna Terrazza’s Brunch Menu Boasts an Aglio & Olio Benedict and Decadent Cheese Toasties

Nestled just three doors down from its acclaimed sibling, Fortuna Italian Trattoria, Fortuna Terrazza has arrived on Craig Road, bringing a slice of Amalfi Coast’s sun-drenched charm to Singapore.

We were invited to a media preview of this new all-day dining Italian cafe, and the experience promises a cheerful addition to the city’s brunch scene. Stepping into Fortuna Terrazza feels like a mini-escape, with its tiled archways and hand-painted ceramics setting a bright, relaxed mood perfect for long, lazy afternoons.

We started with cold beverages to beat the heat.

First up, the Pistacchio 2.0 ($14), a rich and nutty indulgence featuring a smooth coffee crema swirled with a generous amount of pistachio cream and finished with a delightful crumble for texture.

Left to Right: Pistacchio 2.0 and Lychee Bellini

To complement the cheerful vibe, we sipped on a Lychee Bellini ($14), a wonderfully fragrant mocktail where the sweet floral notes of lychee played beautifully with the effervescent bubbles and a hint of citrus.

When it came to the food, the signature Aglio & Olio Benedict ($24), available as an all-day brunch item came highly recommended and we understand why after savouring it.

This inventive creation on the classic replaces the traditional English muffin with a flavourful potato rosti, providing a crispy, garlicky base for perfectly poached eggs and a silky hollandaise. It is a hearty and clever dish that showcases the kitchen’s creativity.

For those seeking a more decadent start to the day, the Buongiorno Toast ($26) delivers with its thick-cut maple-glazed bacon, soft folded eggs, and provolone cheese, all brought together with a strong truffle mayonnaise on sourdough.

For the ultimate comfort food, go for the #6 Cheese Toastie ($24), an artful showcase of six Italian cheeses including lemon ricotta, provolone, and gorgonzola, served on house-made sourdough. The addition of organic raw honey and a drizzle of crispy chilli oil creates a spectacular sweet, savoury, and spicy combination that is utterly moreish.

Drawing from the success of Fortuna Italian Trattoria, which was recognised in Asia Pacific’s 50 Top Pizzerias, Fortuna Terrazza extends that dedication to quality into a more casual, all-day format. The menu here is designed for grazing and sharing, with other highlights like their Ricottamisu Hotcakes and Italian Fried Chicken waiting for our next visit.

Overall, worth the visit for a cheerful, hearty, comfort meal that transports you to the Italian coast.
