Fairmont Singapore Marks SG60 with Orchid-Adorned Mooncake Collection

This Mid-Autumn Festival, Fairmont Singapore is celebrating the spirit of reunion and reflection with a handcrafted mooncake collection that pays tribute to Singapore’s 60th year of independence.

The hotel’s culinary team has curated a range of baked and snow skin mooncakes, presented in radiant red boxes trimmed with gold and adorned with the Vanda Miss Joaquim orchid, symbolising prosperity, joy and unity.

The commemorative packaging is designed to reflect Singapore’s resilience and heritage across six decades of progress.

Among the highlights is the Assorted Mini Snowskin Mooncakes (Box of 8, $118), featuring both new and returning flavours.

Expect bold pairings such as Baileys Espresso, Peach Tie Guan Yin, Raspberry Rose, Muscat Sencha, Pistachio Feuilletine, and Passionfruit Mango, alongside familiar favourites like Champagne.

Each petite mooncake presents something refreshingly fun for those who enjoy experimenting with flavours. Note that alcohol is present in some varieties.

For those who prefer the classics, the White Lotus Paste Baked Mooncakes with Double Yolk (Box of 4, $99) or the White Lotus Paste Baked Mooncakes with Single Yolk (Box of 4, $92) remain as perennial favourites. With velvety sweet lotus paste encasing savoury salted yolks, the traditional baked mooncakes are a must-have on any festive table.

Adding to the spirit of giving, Fairmont has also introduced a Limited Edition Charity Mooncake Collection, designed in collaboration with local illustrator Chris Chew (@Artof.Chris) and Prestige Solutions. Proceeds from this set will go to Ambulance Wish Singapore, a charity dedicated to fulfilling the final wishes of terminally ill individuals.
