The Japan Rail Fair (TJRF) is back on track for its sixth edition, returning from 9 to 11 October 2025 at the Urban Park, Guoco Tower, just outside JAPAN RAIL CAFE. Organised by JR East Business Development SEA Pte. Ltd. in celebration of Japan’s Railway Day (14 October), this free event promises a vibrant showcase of Japan’s beloved railway culture complete with stamps, merchandise, regional highlights, food, and travel inspiration.
This year’s theme introduces a large-scale eki stamp rally featuring 23 collectible stamps and an exclusive multi-layered centrepiece design inspired by iconic stations and travel memories. Visitors who complete their rally ticket stand a chance to win prizes at the daily 7pm lucky draw, including round-trip tickets on Japan Airlines and AirJapan, JR EAST Passes, JAPAN RAIL CLUB Omiyage snack boxes, and exhibitor souvenirs. Plus, 300 goodie bags will be given out across three days.
The fair doubles as a treasure trove of travel ideas with 23 interactive booths featuring prefectures like Aomori, Nagano, and Gunma, alongside tourism organisations and F&B brands. Expect exclusive offers, expert insights, and stage presentations from participants such as Azumino City, JAL, and JNTO, spotlighting hidden gems and off-the-beaten-path adventures in Japan.
Food lovers can indulge in Japan’s flavours with highlights including:
Cultural performances bring extra colour to the fair, from the lively Suzume Odori (Sparrow Dance) of the Tohoku Kizuna Festival to cheerleading showcases by Albirex Niigata Singapore Cheer Dance School and performances by the Wind Ensemble Nippon Singapore. Kids can enjoy photo ops with mascots from Azumino City or step into the shoes of a JAL cabin crew member during a special photo session.
For a taste of Hirosaki City, JAPAN RAIL CAFE is serving a limited-time apple-inspired menu from 1 to 31 October 2025. Highlights include the delicate Apple Tart, indulgent Apple Parfait, and refreshing Apple Fizz, celebrating the region’s famed produce.
