Soup Restaurant Collaborates with Local Talent Lee Jun Le (@junlefont) for Debut Mooncake Collection

Soup Restaurant is marking this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival with a first-ever launch of its own mooncakes, available from 1 to 30 September 2025. Known for its traditional chinese dishes, the homegrown brand is now introducing traditional, handmade baked mooncakes wrapped in an elegant scarf illustrated in the unique JunLe Font by differently abled local artist Lee Jun Le, who was diagnosed with autism at the age of three.

The mooncake collection features three classic flavours made with premium lotus paste, melon seeds for added crunch, and a salted egg yolk centre. Prices start at $16 per piece, $32 for a box of two, and $64 for a box of four with scarf, with early bird discounts of 20% from 1 to 14 September.

Jun Le, the artist behind the calligraphy, has previously collaborated with Soup Restaurant on Chinese New Year red packets. His light-hearted designs for this Mid-Autumn collection include flowers, a smiling moon, and a bunny, all inspired by the festive saying “花好月圆”:

His calligraphy has become his signature artistic style, offering a distinct and personal touch to each mooncake gift set.

By partnering with Jun Le, Soup Restaurant aims to highlight inclusivity and support for individuals with special needs, while offering customers a gift that carries both tradition and meaning. The collaboration reflects the brand’s focus on gifting with purpose, creating opportunities for local talent to shine while celebrating one of the most beloved Chinese festivals.

Soup Restaurant’s mooncakes are available at all outlets islandwide and online.
