SINGLAND FESTIVAL 2026: Singapore’s Biggest Indoor New Year Celebration

Singapore is set to welcome 2026 with a cultural milestone, the launch of SINGLAND FESTIVAL, the nation’s first large-scale indoor New Year celebration. Held at Marina Bay Sands from 31 December 2025 to 3 January 2026, the four-day festival will feature four international stars across four spectacular shows, uniting music, entertainment, and culture on an unprecedented scale.

Timed with Singapore’s 60th year of independence, SINGLAND FESTIVAL is more than a concert series. It’s envisioned as a new annual tradition, bringing together world-class talent, state-of-the-art stage design, and immersive experiences to position Singapore as a premier global New Year destination.

A Festival for Singapore’s 60th Anniversary

The debut edition will feature months of lead-up activities before climaxing in a New Year’s Eve extravaganza, including live performances, immersive audience interaction, and even a Mega-Sing-Along experience.

Organised by Season Culture, a veteran in the live events industry with over 15 years of experience, the festival also aims to spotlight homegrown creativity through collaborations with Singaporean cultural brands.

Its handwritten logo captures the festival’s free-spirited energy, symbolising unity, passion, and the boundless possibilities of artistic expression.

Rain to Headline New Year’s Eve Show

Headlining the inaugural 31 December 2025 New Year’s Eve Celebration Show is none other than Rain (Jung Ji-hoon), the South Korean superstar hailed as K-pop royalty. Known for his explosive stage presence and choreography, Rain’s performance promises to be the centrepiece of the festival.

With a career spanning over two decades, Rain boasts:

  • 7 albums & 28 singles, including the million-selling It’s Raining (2004).
  • Multiple world tours, including his ongoing “Still Raining” tour.
  • Acclaimed acting roles in Full House (2004), Hollywood films Speed Racer (2008) and Ninja Assassin (2009), and the recent Netflix drama Black Swan (2024).
  • Global recognition, including being named one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People (2006, 2011).

Rain’s 90-minute show will usher in 2026 with signature hits, choreography, and stage magic that only a true K-pop legend can deliver.

More Star Power Ahead

While Rain is the first major headliner to be revealed, organisers have confirmed that three more international stars will be announced in September. Teaser dates to watch: 3, 5, and 10 September 2025. Each artist promises a different flavour of entertainment, ranging from R&B and powerhouse ballads to comedy and pop.
