Cocktails and Ice Cream Take Centre Stage in Shangri-La’s 2025 Mooncake Collection

Shangri-La Singapore has recently unveiled its 2025 Mooncake Collection under the theme Moonlit City, Heartfelt Shangri-La (月满香城,心归香格里拉) and the range features an array of elegant classics, creative new flavours, and thoughtful gift sets. These are available online and at the Tower Wing Lobby from now until 6 October 2025.

Among this year’s key highlights is a collaboration with homegrown brand Udders Ice Cream. The partnership introduces two snowskin mooncakes inspired by Udders’ iconic flavours — Muah Chee, with chewy textures and nutty roasted notes, and Chendol, combining fragrant pandan with rich gula melaka.

Each set of four mooncakes is priced at $96 and presented in a two-tier tin that doubles as an insulated lunch bag or sling, making it a versatile and playful gift.

Equally eye-catching is the Origin Bar Mid-Autumn Gift Set ($128), now in its fourth year.

Drawing inspiration from the bar’s new POV cocktail menu, the set includes six mini mooncakes based on signature drinks: Carrot Cake, a spiced and creamy creation, and Tea-ramisu, a blend of Thai milk tea and tiramisu. The set also comes with a 5oz Negroni cocktail flask, all packaged in a celestial-themed box that opens to reveal a glowing moon and rabbit motif, bringing a whimsical nod to Mid-Autumn traditions.

Other offerings include the Moonlit Premium Gift Set ($188), which pairs four Reduced Sugar White Lotus Seed Paste with Double Yolk mooncakes with Shang Palace’s Pu Er tea and a teaware set, housed in a blush-toned box designed to bloom open like a flower.

The Shangri-La Mooncake Selection Gift Box ($149) also makes a return, featuring artisanal flavours such as the prized 50-year-aged mandarin peel with rose and red bean paste, custard lava, osmanthus strawberry red bean, and white lotus with double yolk.

Durian lovers can once again indulge in the Mao Shan Wang Durian Snowskin Mooncakes ($102 for eight), while traditionalists will find a wide selection of classic baked mooncakes.

Shangri-La’s mooncakes are available for order until 6 October 2025, with early bird savings until 7 September. Purchases can be made online or at the Tower Wing Lobby’s Mooncake Specialty Counter.
