The wait is over — Royal Caribbean’s newest Icon Class ship, Star of the Seas, has officially arrived at its new homeport in Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida. With just one week to go before guests embark on their dream getaway, over 2,000 Royal Caribbean team members gathered to welcome the ship in a lively celebration. The festivities will continue with a star-studded naming ceremony to mark the start of its debut season.
Designed for every kind of traveler, Star of the Seas is packed with adventures for all ages. Entertainment lovers can enjoy five signature shows across stage, air, water, and ice including the hit stage adaptation of Back to the Future: The Musical. Food enthusiasts will have over 40 dining and drinking venues to explore, from casual bites to a multi-course experience at the Chicago-inspired Lincoln Park Supper Club.
The ship’s eight distinct neighborhoods are destinations in themselves, featuring everything from the Category 6 waterpark with six thrilling waterslides to seven pools offering ultimate relaxation.
Star of the Seas will sail 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, including visits to Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean’s top-rated private island in The Bahamas.
