AirAsia X Takes Off to Istanbul, Connecting Singaporeans to Europe via Kuala Lumpur

AirAsia X (AAX) is making its long-awaited entry into Europe with a new route to Istanbul, Türkiye, launching 14 November 2025. Singapore travellers can now reach the transcontinental city seamlessly through Fly-Thru connections via Kuala Lumpur, opening the door to one of the world’s most iconic destinations at affordable fares.

Operating four weekly flights between Kuala Lumpur and Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (SAW), the service strengthens AAX’s global network while linking Southeast Asia to Europe through a city that bridges two continents across the Bosphorus Strait. From Istanbul, travellers can enjoy connections to over 117 international and 40 domestic destinations, while guests from Türkiye gain easy access to AirAsia’s network of 130 destinations.

To celebrate the launch, AAX is offering introductory fares from SGD299 all-in one way, available for booking until 20 August 2025 for travel between 14 November 2025 and 24 October 2026 via AirAsia website and the AirAsia MOVE app.
