Skechers Friendship Walk 2025 Heads to Marina Barrage for the First Time with a Scenic New Route and Charitable Purpose

Lace up your sneakers and get ready for a morning of fitness, friendship, and giving back as the Skechers Friendship Walk 2025 steps into Marina Barrage for the first time on Sunday, 31 August 2025. Now in its eighth edition, this signature walk-and-run event by Skechers, The Comfort Technology Company, is set to draw over 5,000 participants for a lively celebration of community, movement, and purpose.

Choose between the 10KM Competitive Run or the 5KM Leisure Walk, both offering scenic routes that pass by Singapore’s iconic waterfront landmarks like Gardens by the Bay East, the Singapore Sports Hub, and Red Dot Design Museum.

Walk for a Cause: Every Step Counts

This year, your steps mean more than just reaching the finish line. For every registration, Skechers will donate $2 to APSN, a social service agency supporting individuals with mild intellectual disabilities through education, vocational training, and employment assistance.

10KM Competitive Individual Run – 7:00 AM

Push your limits in this high-energy route that kicks off at Marina Barrage and loops through scenic paths along Tanjong Rhu Promenade and East Coast Parkway before ending near the Barrage.

5KM Leisure Walk – 7:20 AM

Perfect for families and friends, this fun walk offers three registration options—Individual, Buddy (2 pax), or Family (2 adults + 1 child). Expect photo-worthy stops near landmarks like Flower Dome and a relaxed atmosphere that welcomes participants of all ages.
