Baseball fans and culture lovers, get ready — for the first time ever, Japan’s iconic professional baseball team, the Hiroshima Toyo Carp, is bringing its spirit, style, and energy to Singapore with an exclusive pop-up store! From 19 July to 31 August 2025, OPEN MUJI at Plaza Singapura will host this special event that blends sports, culture, and tourism in celebration of Singapore’s 60th birthday and the 50th anniversary of Carp Boy, the beloved team mascot.
Marking the Hiroshima Toyo Carp’s first full-scale overseas pop-up, this event is more than just a shopping experience — it’s a dynamic showcase of Japanese baseball heritage and Hiroshima’s unique offerings. Presented in collaboration with MUJI, the event transforms OPEN MUJI into a vibrant hub of cross-cultural exchange, uniting Singaporean and Japanese communities through fandom and fun.
