The AIA HYROX Open Asian Championship 2025 made history this past weekend (28–29 June) as 12,840 athletes from across Asia and beyond gathered at the Singapore National Stadium — marking the largest HYROX race ever held in Asia. With nearly 25,000 athletes and spectators in attendance, the event brought unparalleled energy, fitness, and community spirit to Singapore’s premier sporting venue.
Backed by Sport Singapore and the Singapore Tourism Board, this milestone edition introduced two new competition categories:
From elite competitors to first-timers, the stadium pulsed with support and camaraderie as participants tackled the intense HYROX format: eight 1km runs, each followed by a functional fitness station.
Athletes pushed through HYROX’s signature circuit, which included:
The Adaptive category saw inspiring performances, with adjusted reps and weights allowing every athlete to compete with confidence.
Capping off the weekend was the inaugural HYROX Mixed Relay Asian Championship Invitational, where 13 teams from across the region faced off in a thrilling showdown. Team South Korea took the top spot, demonstrating exceptional teamwork and stamina.
With Singapore’s fourth edition setting a new regional benchmark, HYROX now gears up for more races across Sydney, Delhi, Hong Kong, Yokohama, Perth, Seoul, and Melbourne as it continues expanding across 31 countries worldwide.
Can’t get enough? HYROX Singapore returns 29–30 November at Singapore Expo. Plus, fitness enthusiasts can look forward to AIA’s Ultimate FitnessFest, which will include a HYROX-inspired challenge with University and Open Editions — designed to be fun, inclusive, and accessible to all fitness levels.
