After years of meticulous redevelopment, Grand Hyatt Singapore is unveiling a striking new chapter in its storied 54-year history. Officially reopened with its refreshed Grand Wing, relocated Grand Club Lounge, and reimagined 10|Scotts dining venue, the revitalized property redefines modern luxury with a purpose — blending wellness, sustainability, and local culture in the heart of Orchard Road.
From 18 July to 14 September 2025, the hotel will celebrate its transformation with a vibrant lineup of experiences, including elevated gourmet offerings, curated wellness retreats, and exclusive World of Hyatt rewards.
Designed by Tokyo-based Strickland studio, the new Grand Wing seamlessly marries Singapore’s tropical energy with modern sophistication. All 407 rooms feature open-concept layouts with Peranakan-inspired accents, warm walnut floors, and sleek Patagonia stone bathrooms. Signature octagonal motifs run through the corridors and rooms, nodding to the hotel’s architectural heritage while delivering a serene, contemporary experience.
Public spaces, including the sculptural Grand Lobby, offer artful design moments with carved louvers, local wood ceiling fins, and understated luxury that feels both grounded and refined.
Now perched on the mezzanine level, the redesigned Grand Club Lounge by NAO Taniyama celebrates Singapore’s multicultural identity through warm, tactile interiors and local design elements. More than a lounge, it’s a space of cultural exchange — ideal for casual meetings, quiet reflection, or evening cocktails with panoramic views. Guests staying in suites or holding elite World of Hyatt status enjoy privileges like breakfast, premium small plates, and curated refreshments throughout the day.
Originally opened in July 2024, the Terrace Wing offers a serene retreat inspired by the Japanese concept of shinrin-yoku (forest bathing). Landscaped by Grant Associates, the garden-filled haven features koi ponds, butterfly-attracting plants, cascading waterfalls, and even family-friendly sculpture trails. Elevated lawns host yoga and wellness activities, while the ecosystem actively supports Singapore’s biodiversity goals.
A pioneer in eco-conscious hospitality since 2002, Grand Hyatt Singapore operates on 100% renewable electricity and leads with initiatives like its closed-loop aquaponics system, on-site water bottling, and zero-waste culinary practices. Over 80% of produce comes from regional farms, 55% of seafood is certified sustainable, and herbs are grown in its own rooftop garden. Even the interiors reflect this ethos, with upcycled materials and durable, sustainable finishes throughout.
The hotel’s seven dining venues are back in full swing, offering global flavors with local soul. Highlights include:
The hotel’s upgraded wellness destination, Damai, introduces next-generation spa rituals, a Halo Steam Room, Air Lounge Hydro Pool, and Singapore’s first Mind Body Therapy Wall. The signature Mind Body Wellness programme features transformative treatments like The Recovery and The Awakening, using a blend of vibroacoustic therapy, oceanic minerals, and light therapy to combat fatigue and digital burnout.
The new Grand Vitality membership offers locals access to top-tier facilities, group fitness classes like Wall Yoga, and nature-immersed fitness experiences — fostering a holistic path to well-being.
