Changi Airport Group (CAG) and Jewel Changi Airport are rolling out a spectacular celebration for Singapore’s 60th birthday with a vibrant lineup of events from July to August, themed “Together, We Make Magic.” From a star-studded concert to a night-time charity walk and immersive floral displays, the festivities spotlight Singapore’s spirit, heritage, and community.
On 1 August, Jewel will host the SG60 Homecoming Concert, a grand sing-along under the iconic dome. The free ticketed event features Stefanie Sun and Kit Chan headlining, alongside crowd favourites like Sezairi, Regina Song, The Freshman, and SuperSonic. Expect beloved National Day tunes and homegrown hits that’ll have the crowd belting along in unison.
Tickets will be distributed via ballot in early July on Changi Airport’s social media platforms.
Join Buddy and Mr Merlion on a glowing night walk at the SG60 Changi Airport Charity Walk on 27 July. The 2km walk stretches from Terminal 2 to Terminal 4 along the illuminated Changi Airport Connector, ending in a lively Finisher Carnival.
Each participant receives a race pack with an event tee, eco-bag, and vouchers. Finishers will receive a medal and an exclusive plush keychain. An optional dino-themed bonus route adds extra fun at Jurassic Mile.
All proceeds support Community Chest programmes for children with special needs and youth-at-risk. CAG will match donations dollar-for-dollar (up to S$60,000), with additional matching from SG Gives.
From 21 July, explore stunning floral installations celebrating Singapore’s natural heritage:
From 28 July, drivers will be welcomed by a dazzling outdoor light-up along Airport Boulevard, featuring nostalgic icons like the Merlion, Toa Payoh Dragon Playground, and Gardens by the Bay—culminating in a majestic arch in red and white.
All through August, Jewel will present a special edition of its Light & Music Showcase, featuring “Home (1998)” by Kit Chan. Expect stirring watercolour-style visuals of national icons set to this beloved anthem—a heartwarming tribute to home.
Starting 1 August, Changi Experience Studio’s “Evolution of Travel” exhibition will guide visitors through Singapore’s air travel history—from handwritten bookings to today’s digital journeys. Discover how Changi’s terminals evolved and how in-flight meals adapted through time.
Special SG60 offer: 6 tickets for S$60, or S$6 per senior (60+ years) until 30 September 2025.
Celebrate SG60 with special dining treats and retail surprises across Changi’s terminals and from nearly 60 Jewel tenants—a feast of flavours, fashion, and fun.
