Get ready for a creative adventure as Goodman Open House 2025 returns on Saturday, 28 June, transforming Singapore’s largest arts enclave into a dynamic playground of imagination, movement, and expression. Organised by Arts House Limited (AHL), this free, all-ages event invites everyone—from families to art aficionados—to dive into a jam-packed day of storytelling, dance, workshops, installations, open studios, markets, and more.
With the theme “Arts Meet Play, All Day,” the event is co-curated by Kamini Ramachandran (Moonshadow Stories) and Dorothy Neo (Goodman Arts Centre), bringing together over 60 artists, collectives, and tenants in an inspiring showcase of Singapore’s creative spirit.
Start your day at Block O, where DPLMT curates the Mighty Makers Creators Market, buzzing with local artists, designers, and makers offering handcrafted goods and interactive craft zones. Then swing by Block C for the Nature-Inspired Eco Market by Plantitude, featuring eco-conscious brands, botanical art, handmade skincare, and zero-waste treats.
Unleash your inner artist at this hands-on activity on the Block O open field. Kids and adults alike can explore techniques like straw painting, stamping, finger painting, and freestyle art at three interactive booths.
Peek behind the curtain with exclusive access to artists’ working studios across the centre. These intimate visits offer a rare look at the creative process across disciplines—from fine art to dance and theatre.
Kids aged 4 to 7 can join this fun-filled Indian dance experience, where storytelling meets movement in an immersive introduction to classical Indian dance.
Don’t miss this enchanting puppetry performance that shares a hopeful tale of environmental care and community values. Afterward, get involved in Beats & Doodles: A Communal Composition, a participatory jam session hosted by Cherry Chan and Brilliant Corners Club.
Catch the unveiling of Threadlines, a heartfelt mural created by AHL, DPLMT, and the seniors of Mountbatten Art Club. Inspired by cross-stitch motifs, the mural is a symbol of intergenerational storytelling and unity.
Wind down under the stars at the Block O open field, which turns into a silent cinema for a special screening of Transformers One. Pack a mat, bring your snacks, and enjoy the action. Nearby, check out A Little Bead of Work by Kray Chen—a glowing installation of alphabet beads where you can craft your own bracelet or message.
Fuel up on the go with Asian-inspired gourmet hot dogs and loaded nachos, served with flair at That Hot Dog Stand.
