Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2025 to Finish at the Padang in Celebration of SG60

The Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon (SCSM) returns on 6–7 December 2025 with a historic twist—this year’s race will conclude at the Padang, offering runners a triumphant finish against the backdrop of one of Singapore’s most iconic heritage sites. In honour of SG60, this new finish line pays tribute to the nation’s rich history, flanked by the grand neoclassical façades of the former City Hall and Supreme Court, now home to the National Gallery Singapore.

Kicking off at the F1 Pit Building, the World Athletics Gold Label race is renowned for its scenic route, vibrant atmosphere, and global appeal. This year, over 7,000 international runners are expected, with strong participation from Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, and China.

Spectators and runners alike can look forward to a festive atmosphere at the Padang with live performances, cultural showcases, skyline photo ops, dedicated recovery zones, and plenty of food options.

adidas Joins as Official Apparel and Footwear Sponsor

SCSM 2025 also welcomes adidas as the official apparel and footwear sponsor. Participants will receive premium adidas race gear tailored for comfort and performance. Try-ons for race singlets and finisher tees will be available at selected adidas stores, with details to be shared closer to race day. A range of exclusive SCSM x adidas merchandise will also be released, giving runners the chance to wear their marathon pride.

Celebrate SG60 with Special Discounts

To mark SG60, Standard Chartered Singapore is launching a special SG60 Ekiden promotion. The first 60 Ekiden teams to register on National Day will receive S$60 off, with Standard Chartered cardholders enjoying an additional 15% discount. More SG60-related promotions for other categories will be announced soon.

Get Race-Ready with Official Training Runs

Eight official training sessions, organised by long-time SCSM partner Running Department, will begin on 30 August. These sessions, led by professional pacers, are tailored to help runners of all levels prepare for race day, covering distances from 5km to 33km.
