This Khareef season, Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara is turning up the indulgence with an exclusive collaboration featuring viral sensation Chef Nouel Catis — the creative mind behind the pistachio kunafa chocolate that took the Middle East by storm.
From 1 June to 31 August 2025, guests can savour The Anantara Khareef Chocolate, a luxurious creation inspired by Salalah’s rich heritage and tropical charm. This limited-edition treat, available only at the resort’s Mediterranean beachside venue Al Mina, blends local frankincense with a sweet coconut katayef mixture for a distinctly Omani twist on artisan chocolate.
But that’s not all — Chef Nouel is also bringing his signature Coconut Malva Cake, a nostalgic dessert with soft, comforting flavours to complete the seasonal lineup.
Founder of his namesake brand and sister company Sna’ap, launched in October 2024, Chef Nouel brings a decade of experience and a passion for cultural storytelling to this unique pop-up. Known for transforming bold ideas into beloved culinary creations, his collaboration with Anantara marks a celebration of craftsmanship, terroir, and regional identity.
