Leica Unveils Revamped ION Orchard Store to Mark 100 Years of Innovation

In celebration of a century of optical excellence, Leica has officially unveiled its newly reimagined store at ION Orchard—a refined destination for photography lovers and design enthusiasts alike. Nestled amid the world’s top luxury labels in the heart of Orchard Road, the refreshed Leica Store ION Orchard marks a new chapter for the iconic German brand in Singapore.

This revitalised space offers a more compact yet immersive take on Leica’s evolving experiential concept, first introduced at its South Beach Quarter flagship. While South Beach remains the brand’s flagship experience, the ION Orchard store brings Leica’s timeless elegance into a more accessible, locally tailored format—ideal for casual browsing, quick hands-on demos, and personal consultations.

The updated store design mirrors Leica’s core values of artistry and innovation, with a thoughtfully curated layout, tactile finishes, and a discreet yet welcoming atmosphere. Every element is crafted to evoke a sense of intimacy and sophistication, paying tribute to the brand’s rich heritage while embracing modern sensibilities.

Visitors can explore Leica’s full product portfolio, from its legendary cameras and lenses to watches and cine gear. Beyond retail, the space also serves as a vibrant community hub—powered by in-store experts ready to help every guest capture life’s most meaningful moments.

Leica BE@RBRICK ROYAL SELANGOR 400%

To mark the grand opening, Leica is also launching a global exclusive: the Leica BE@RBRICK ROYAL SELANGOR 400%. This pewter-crafted collectible pays homage to Oskar Barnack’s revolutionary 1914 Ur-Leica prototype. A collaboration between Leica, collectible art pioneer BE@RBRICK, and heritage pewtersmith Royal Selangor, this piece represents a rare synergy of craftsmanship, culture, and design.

The collectible will debut on 6 June 2025, available for purchase starting 7 June 2025 exclusively at the Leica Store ION Orchard and online, followed by a wider release from 24 July 2025 via Royal Selangor and MEDICOM TOY. Priced at S$2,950 (incl. GST), it’s a must-have for collectors and Leica aficionados.

Exclusive Leica Q3 Series in Purple

Also launching in conjunction with the opening is the vibrant Leica Q3 and Q3 43 Purple Edition, inspired by ION Orchard’s signature hue. Limited to just 15 bundles, these exclusive cameras are priced at S$10,913 and S$11,303 respectively, and available only at the ION store—on a first-come, first-served basis.
