Get ready for an intergalactic adventure as Gardens by the Bay’s Children’s Festival returns for its 11th edition—this time inspired by Disney’s beloved blue alien, Stitch! Running from now till 15 June 2025, the free outdoor festival at Supertree Grove invites kids and families to dive into a world of fun, friendship, and family.
A festival first: slide down a nearly 7-metre-tall structure wrapped around one of Gardens by the Bay’s iconic Supertrees. It’s all part of The Great ‘Ohana Wave, a thrilling installation for kids aged 6 to 12 designed to boost confidence and deliver non-stop fun.
This year marks the Asia-Pacific’s first Stitch-themed outdoor event, celebrating Disney’s Lilo & Stitch with larger-than-life play zones and hands-on experiences:
Kids can collect stamps at all four zones and redeem a Stitch-themed sticker sheet (while stocks last).
Stick around for a magical edition of the Garden Rhapsody light and sound show—The Way to ‘Ohana—happening nightly at 7.45pm and 8.45pm. Watch the Supertrees light up in sync with music from Disney’s Lilo & Stitch.
On 7 and 8 June, fans can also enjoy a special meet-and-greet with a familiar face from the film—complete with tropical vibes and photo opportunities. Sessions are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
And from now till 8 June, snap a fun photo with a 2-metre-tall Stitch figurine at Supertree Grove and post it on Instagram for a chance to win movie tickets to Disney’s Lilo & Stitch live-action film.
Don’t miss the exclusive Stitch x Gardens by the Bay merchandise, available only at the festival’s retail pop-up. From plush toys to apparel and figurines, fans can take home a piece of the magic—tropical Stitch style.
Weekends also bring lively stage performances by Cake Theatre in The Great Island Series, plus carnival games and creative workshops where kids can make their own Hawaiian lei, space-themed lanterns, and more (separate charges apply).
Young explorers can also attend Plants on the Move!—a free storytelling session led by Gardens’ Hawaii-born plant researcher, happening on 31 May and 14 June. Learn how Pacific islanders once voyaged with essential plants like coconut and taro, and why they still matter today.
