[Review] BBQ Nights at Oasis @ Grand Hyatt Singapore: A Sizzling Poolside Feast Paired with Free-Flow Drinks

Nestled on the fifth floor of Grand Hyatt Singapore, Oasis offers a unique dual-concept dining experience that blends indoor elegance with alfresco poolside charm. As it’s name suggests, presents a hidden green oasis in the Orchard shopping belt.

On Fridays and Saturdays, the restaurant transforms into a lively hotspot for its signature BBQ Nights, where guests can indulge in a lavish sharing platter paired with free-flow drinks.

We had the chance to experience this culinary affair on a particularly memorable evening on the night of the Singapore General Election 2025 where the sizzle of the grill competed with the buzz of election results.

All the good stuff from Oasis’ signature grill

Oasis’s tranquil poolside ambiance, alongside lush greenery, sets the stage for a relaxed yet vibrant dining experience. The open kitchen allows guests to watch as chefs expertly grill premium meats and seafood, adding a theatrical touch to the meal.

Oasis’ BBQ Night Sharing Platter

The BBQ Night Sharing Platter ($88++ per person) is a carnivore’s dream, featuring an impressive lineup of grilled specialties such as:

Australian Five Founders bone-in beef – tender and juicy, this was our favourite for the night.
Australian Roaring Forties lamb – smoky and full of flavour, another of our favourites.
Herb marinated black tiger prawn – for seafood lovers.
Grilled Salmon – another of the seafood items on the grill.
Italian pork sausage
Tamarind marinated chicken thigh – robust and intense in flavour.

Other than the signature grilled items, the platter also includes starters like oysters on ice, prawn cocktail, ciabatta and fresh salads, ensuring a balanced meal.

Additionally, sides like roasted potatoes and stir-fried vegetables further complement the mains perfectly to load up on carbs.

Grilled Herb Ciabatta – served with hummus and chili oil.
Assorted salads
Stir-fried vegetables
Oysters on Ice – served with shallot, mignonette and lemon.
Prawn Cocktail – deshelved black tiger prawns served with cocktail sauce and lemon.
Roasted New Potatoes – served with smoke salt and chive for extra kick.

For dessert, the cinnamon sugar donuts, passion fruit profiteroles and seasonal fruit platter provide a sweet finale.

Desserts
Soft Serve Sundae
Cinnamon Sugar Donuts
Seasonal Local Fruits
Profiteroles, Passion Fruit Curd, Chocolate Sauce

For those who like to knock back a few drinks while enjoying your meal, the alcohol beverage package ($58++ per person) offers 2.5 hours of free-flow drinks, including:

  • Sparkling, white, rosé, and red wines.
  • Draught beer
  • Non-alcoholic options like soft drinks, cold pressed juices and sparkling water

On election night, the free-flow drinks were a welcome perk, keeping the conversation lively as results rolled in. This add-on is highly recommended for group gatherings with friends for a long night of flowing conversations.

Beyond the food and drinks, BBQ Nights at Oasis excel in atmosphere. The combination of poolside views, open grilling, and attentive service makes it ideal for celebrations or casual gatherings.

Overall, BBQ Nights at Oasis deliver a winning combination of quality grilled fare, free-flow drinks, and a relaxed yet festive ambiance.
