Asia’s largest inaugural tech, startup, and digital investments, GITEX ASIA x Ai Everything, launch a new era of tech in the region.

Under the banner “Advancing Bold Partnerships in Asia,” the event features over 700 enterprises and acclaimed startups across 20+ sectors and 70+ countries. With more than 400 expert speakers and 250 top investors managing a combined US$200 billion in assets, GITEX ASIA offers unrivalled access to capital, talent, and new market opportunities.

The opening ceremony set the tone for an unmissable showcase of digital ambition, collaborative innovation, and emerging tech solutions. A major theme of Day One was cybersecurity, with industry leaders, regulators, and national digital agency representatives confronting the urgent “cybercrime conundrum.” According to FBI and IMF projections, cybercrime could surge from US$8.4 trillion in 2022 to over US$23 trillion by 2027—making it one of the most pressing global threats.

Spanning 180+ hours of content across eight key themes—including AI, cloud, quantum, green tech, smart cities, and health tech—the event offers a deep dive into technologies reshaping societies. The healthcare sector took centre stage during the GITEX Digi Health & Biotech forum, with Boston Consulting Group forecasting Asia’s healthcare market to hit US$5 trillion by 2030. Datuk Dr. Kuljit Singh of the Association of Private Hospitals Malaysia emphasized the importance of balancing innovation with patient safety as AI revolutionises diagnostics and treatment.

As the event continues, highlights include North Star Asia—the world’s largest startup and investor connector platform—and the cutting-edge Ai Everything showcase. The GITEX Quantum Expo Asia also promises to push boundaries, laying the groundwork for a new era in computing.
