Anime Festival Asia Returns to Jakarta in June 2025 with a Star-Studded Lineup and Electrifying Experiences

Anime Festival Asia (AFA) is back in Jakarta for its highly anticipated 2025 edition. From 6–8 June 2025, the Jakarta Convention Centre will once again transform into Southeast Asia’s ultimate celebration of Japanese pop culture. This marks the 9th edition of AFA in Indonesia, and it’s shaping up to be the biggest one yet.

Since its debut in 2008, AFA has captivated fans across six cities, hosting over 30 events, 2,300 exhibitors, and 520 performers. With over 2.3 million attendees to date, AFA is a cultural juggernaut—and this year’s Jakarta edition promises three packed days of anime, music, cosplay, and interactive experiences.
