Prudential Expands Healthcare Access with Thomson Medical Centre Partnership

Prudential Singapore is enhancing healthcare convenience for its customers through a new partnership with Thomson Medical Centre (TMC). Starting April 1, 2025, customers with Prudential’s Integrated Shield Plan (IP) will have access to a broader network of medical specialists at TMC, improving their healthcare options.

At the signing ceremony on 28 March 2025 were (L – R) Mr Lee Suen Ming, CEO, Thomson Medical Singapore; Dr Melvin Heng, Group CEO, Thomson Medical Group; Ms Chan San San, CEO, Prudential Singapore; and Dr Sidharth Kachroo, Chief Health Officer, Prudential Singapore. The ceremony was held at Prudential Singapore’s Labrador Tower office.

This collaboration adds approximately 100 accredited specialists from TMC to Prudential’s PRUPanel Connect (PPC) programme, expanding its panel to over 1,700 specialists across more than 30 medical fields. Customers can receive expert care in specialties such as obstetrics, gynaecology, paediatrics, orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, oncology, and ophthalmology.

Beyond medical access, Prudential is ensuring seamless healthcare experiences at TMC. An on-site concierge team will assist customers with IP-related inquiries, while financial representatives will be available for personalized advisory services. Customers with select IP supplementary plans will also benefit from enhanced services like an expedited three-day specialist appointment booking and an electronic Letter of Guarantee (eLOG) of up to S$30,000, eliminating upfront deposit requirements.
