Ramadan-Friendly Fun: Why Visit Legoland Malaysia During This Festive Period

As the holy month of Ramadan unfolds, Singaporeans seeking a meaningful and enjoyable family getaway can consider a short trip to Legoland Malaysia Resort. We were there last weekend and had a great time at the resort, visiting both the theme park and the neighbouring SEA LIFE Malaysia aquarium.

Located just a short drive from the Tuas Checkpoint, the resort has thoughtfully curated a range of activities, dining experiences, and promotions that cater to both fasting Muslims and non-fasting visitors, making it an inclusive and culturally enriching destination during this sacred period.

Thoughtful Experiences for Fasting Families

Legoland Malaysia understands the significance of Ramadan and has designed its offerings to respect the traditions of fasting Muslims while ensuring everyone can enjoy the festivities. For those observing the fast, the resort provides a welcoming environment where families can still partake in the fun without compromising their religious practices.

For our 2D1N weekend getaway, we stayed at the neighbouring Medini Somerset Hotel, an Ascotts serviced residence that is located within a ten-minutes walk from the resort.

The hotel offers family rooms that can accommodate large families, with live-in facilities like a kitchen and a washing machine. Grocery is available at the nearby supermarket near the resort and you can choose to cook and prepare your own meal.

A Grand Feast to Break the Fast

One of the highlights Legoland Malaysia during Ramadan is the Flavours of Nusantara Buffet Dinner, available from March 7 to 28 at the Bricks Family Restaurant.

We were overwhelmed by the wide array of food choices, ranging from local delights to international fares:

One of the highlights – giant prawn with Tom Yum broth, served in a whole coconut

This lavish spread features over 150 authentic dishes from across the Nusantara region, including hearty favourites like Asam Pedas Claypot, Tender Lamb Rack in Bamboo, and Chicken Pasu Rice.

The buffet also includes live cooking stations and festive entertainment, creating a warm and celebratory atmosphere perfect for iftar.

For an added touch of magic, diners can pair their meal with a visit to SEA LIFE Malaysia, located within the resort.

Buffet attendees can purchase a special entry ticket for just RM30, valid from 4 PM to 6 PM, allowing families to explore the underwater world before breaking their fast.

Annual passholders can enjoy an additional 10% discount on the buffet, making it an even more enticing deal.

Unbeatable Deals for Family Fun

Legoland Malaysia is also offering a range of promotions that make it an attractive destination for families.

Visitors can enjoy a 50% discount on day tickets for a friend when purchasing a 1-Day Theme Park, Double-Park (Theme Park + SEA LIFE), or Triple-Park (Theme Park + Water Park + SEA LIFE) ticket. Simply flash your annual pass at the ticketing counter to unlock this offer.

For those planning a longer stay, Triple-Park Annual Pass holders can enjoy an additional 30% discount on accommodations at the Legoland Hotel.

This is an excellent opportunity to extend your visit and enjoy the resort’s attractions at a leisurely pace, all while staying close to the park’s amenities.

Why Visit During Ramadan?

Ramadan is a time of reflection, togetherness, and celebration, and Legoland Malaysia provides the perfect setting for families to create lasting memories.

For non-Muslim visitors, you will appreciate the thinner crowd and shorter queues during this period for the more physically strenuous attractions. Additionally, you get to learn and appreciate the culture of Ramadan from the various festive performances and activities planned in the park.

For fasting Muslims, the Nusantara buffet at Bricks restaurant is a draw for a family get-together for itfar. The SEA LIFE and Flavours of Nusantara Buffet pairing is also a thoughtful initiative allowing for a fun family visit that is not so physically strenuous.

Book your tickets and reservations online now to save and make the most of this festive season.
