A Decade of Resilience: Looking Toward 100 Years of Singapore

Since its founding in 2016, SG100 Foundation has championed Singapore’s long-term progress by fostering the values of resilience, unity, and bold vision. This year’s dinner, themed “Lest We Forget,” is a tribute to Singapore’s humble beginnings and a rallying call to the next generation to uphold the nation’s shared identity and values. With 40 tables representing the 40 years ahead, the event underscores the importance of collective action in building a brighter future, echoing the aspirations of the late founding Prime Minister Mr. Lee Kuan Yew.

Gracing the occasion as Guest-of-Honour is Madam Halimah Yacob, Singapore’s former President, whose unwavering dedication to social progress mirrors the Foundation’s mission.

Celebrating Visionaries, Artistry, and Global Connections

The SG100 Foundation remains committed to fostering global friendships and promoting international collaboration. Inspired by Prime Minister Lawrence Wong’s vision of deepening global ties, this year’s dinner also highlights enduring connections, including last year’s gift from the Embassy of China—a documentary titled Lee Kuan Yew and China’s Reform and Opening-Up.

This evening also celebrates individuals who embody the values of resilience, creativity, and perseverance:

  • Mr. Lim Tze Peng (1918–2023): Honoring the late master artist, whose works capture the essence of Singapore.
  • Charlie Lim (75 years old): An award-winning artist who redefines boundaries with his innovative light technology, proving creativity transcends age.
  • Original Music Performances: Talented local composers and singers will debut original songs inspired by the themes Lest We Forget and Riding the Rainbow, adding a heartfelt tribute to Singapore’s collective journey.

Let’s honor the past, celebrate the present, and build the future together.
