BIGWalk SG 2025: Singapore’s Iconic Walking Event Returns Bigger Than Ever for SG60

Get ready to step into history as BIGWalk SG 2025 makes its highly anticipated return to Marina Barrage on May 18, 2025. Organized by Firefly Connections and benefiting Willing Hearts, this year’s event is more inclusive than ever, celebrating unity, nostalgia, and community spirit as Singapore approaches its SG60 milestone.

With the theme “A Walk for All, A Walk to Remember,” participants will embark on a 5 km scenic route around Marina Bay, taking in breathtaking city views while experiencing a meaningful end-walk celebration. Whether you’re walking for fitness, fun, or a cause, this event promises to bring Singaporeans together in a truly unforgettable way.

Walking with Big Hearts for a Good Cause

As the official beneficiary, Willing Hearts—Singapore’s leading charity and soup kitchen—will receive support from the event. Founded in 2009 by Tony Tay, the organization provides thousands of daily meals to those in need through its dedicated volunteers.

Participants can register as individuals, teams of three or more, or as a family (one adult and one child). Every registrant will receive a commemorative event T-shirt, a free meal, and access to the post-walk heritage telematch, where exciting prizes await.

Relive Childhood Fun with “Games We Remember”

The excitement doesn’t stop at the finish line. BIGWalk SG 2025 introduces “Games We Remember”, a nostalgic telematch featuring ten classic childhood games. Teams of three will compete, collecting points on a 70s bus ticket-inspired scorecard. From familiar favorites to long-forgotten pastimes, this interactive experience fosters camaraderie while celebrating Singapore’s multicultural heritage.
