Nothing Reveals Phone (3a) Series with the World’s First Robot Unboxing

London-based tech innovator Nothing has officially revealed the full design of its highly anticipated Phone (3a) Series—but with a futuristic twist. In a world-first, the smartphone was unboxed not by human hands, but by NEO Gamma, a humanoid robot developed by Norwegian robotics firm 1x.

Alongside the unique unveiling, Nothing’s Design Director, Adam Bates, sat down with the brand’s YouTube team to explore the inspirations behind the Phone (3a) Series, including the rationale behind its periscope camera layout.

For those eager to see what’s inside, the full specifications will drop on 4 March at 10:00 AM GMT, with a launch video streaming on Nothing’s YouTube channel and nothing.tech.
