gamescom Asia and Thailand Game Show Unite to Create Southeast Asia’s Biggest Gaming Event

Get ready for the ultimate gaming spectacle—gamescom asia and Thailand Game Show are joining forces to establish Southeast Asia’s largest and most dynamic gaming event. This unprecedented merger will debut in October 2025, combining a powerhouse B2B and B2C gaming platform with an electrifying fan-driven experience.

Since its launch in 2021, gamescom asia has cemented its status as a premier industry event in Singapore, with its latest edition drawing over 40,000 attendees from 78 countries and 177 exhibitors. Meanwhile, Thailand Game Show, a fan-favorite since 2006, attracted over 185,000 visitors and 50 exhibitors in its 2024 edition. Together, these two titans will create gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show, the region’s most influential business and consumer gaming event.

This collaboration highlights the gaming industry’s rapid growth in Southeast Asia, offering unparalleled opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing, and entertainment. Attendees can expect a diverse lineup featuring industry conferences, esports tournaments, AAA and indie game showcases, cosplay, live experiences, and exclusive reveals.

The event is backed by industry leaders:

  • Koelnmesse – A global trade fair powerhouse behind gamescom, gamescom asia, and gamescom latam.
  • Show No Limit – Founder of Thailand Game Show and key player in Thailand’s gaming and tech media landscape.
  • game – The German Games Industry Association – The organization behind gamescom, representing the entire video game ecosystem.

With strategic support from Thailand’s Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa) and the Thailand Game Software Industry Association (TGA), this event is set to reshape the gaming landscape in the region.

Mark your calendars—gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show is happening October 16-19, 2025, at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand.
