Planning a trip to Thailand? YouTrip, Singapore’s leading multi-currency digital wallet, just made travel spending even easier with the launch of its new Thai Baht (THB) wallet. Now, users can lock in favorable exchange rates and maximize their travel budget by pre-converting Singapore Dollars (SGD) to THB directly through the YouTrip app.
With 1 in 5 YouTrip users visiting Thailand last year, the new THB wallet is designed to help travelers save more by allowing them to convert currency at optimal rates, reducing the impact of market fluctuations. Recent trends showed the Thai Baht rising to 25.19 per SGD on 15 Feb, highlighting the value of securing good rates early.
But the good news doesn’t stop there—YouTrip is also gearing up to launch a Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) wallet soon, responding to growing demand and increasing transaction volumes. Once live, users will have access to 12 in-app wallets, including popular currencies like USD, EUR, and JPY, giving them more flexibility and control over their travel budgets.
To celebrate the launch, YouTrip brings back Travel Wednesdays, offering incredible savings just in time for upcoming school holidays and year-end getaways. Through YouTrip Perks, users can enjoy exclusive deals, including S$100 off and up to 17% upsized cashback on flights, hotels, and activities.
Here’s a look at the exclusive offers available every Wednesday until 2 April 2025:
To unlock these savings, users simply need to visit the ‘Perks’ tab on the YouTrip app, select their preferred travel booking platform, and complete the booking using their YouTrip card.
