Clockenflap, Hong Kong’s premier outdoor music and arts festival, electrified the Central Harbourfront on its second day, Saturday, 30 November, with a dazzling lineup of global, regional, and local talent across six stages. Beyond the music, the festival offered a rich tapestry of art installations, family-friendly activities, and one-of-a-kind experiences.
The Harbourflap Stage took center stage as British rap sensation Central Cee delivered a headlining performance that left hip-hop fans roaring. Joining him on the main stage were the captivating St. Vincent, genre-defying vocalist Banks, Japanese idol group Sakurazaka46, and local supergroup R.O.O.T.
Meanwhile, the Hang Seng Stage kept the energy high with a standout headline performance by British indie rock legends Suede, alongside local favorite Serrini and LA’s dreamy pop duo Fiji Blue.
The Park Stage by Martell showcased indie gems, including Hong Kong’s own Lucid Express, Australia’s Last Dinosaurs, Japan’s Cody ・Lee (李), and London dance-punk act Fat Dog. At the Electriq Stage, the beats never stopped, with electronic maestro Partiboi69 igniting the dance floor.
Clockenflap wasn’t just about music. Attendees marveled at the Hello Hong Kong Balloon Chain and explored experimental animation films presented by Relentless Melt No. 36. Families enjoyed interactive experiences from the Children’s Discovery Museum and the enchanting puppet show The Butterfly Ball, ensuring something magical for all ages.
