Chelsea FC and Ascott Bring the Iconic CFC Fan Event to Singapore

Chelsea Football Club, in partnership with The Ascott Limited, delighted fans in Singapore with the first-ever Southeast Asian edition of The Famous CFC. Held on 30 November and 1 December, the weekend brought hundreds of passionate supporters together to celebrate Chelsea’s legacy and passion for football.

Anchored at lyf Funan Singapore, with additional activities at The Robertson House by The Crest Collection and Ascott Orchard Singapore, the event offered fans an unforgettable experience featuring football coaching clinics, a match watch party, and exclusive moments with Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola.

Football Coaching Clinics

The event kicked off with coaching clinics at The Ark futsal court in Funan, led by Chelsea FC coaches. The sessions, reflecting Chelsea’s commitment to community engagement, welcomed participants from SportCares and the Singapore Disability Sports Council. Zola made a special appearance, inspiring young players and engaging with local beneficiaries.

Exclusive Meet-and-Greets

Fans enjoyed intimate meet-and-greet opportunities with Zola at The Robertson House, where they posed with the 2016/17 Premier League trophy. Zola also visited Chandu, the hotel’s speakeasy bar, to craft the Magic Box Dribble, a cocktail inspired by his iconic playing style.

Fireside Chat and Charity Auction

At lyf Funan Singapore, Zola shared personal stories during a fireside chat and joined fans for a lively dinner party. The evening featured a Stamford Bridge-inspired experiential zone and a live charity auction of signed memorabilia. Proceeds supported the Goh Chok Tong Enable Fund, promoting disability inclusion and empowerment.

Match Watch Party

The festivities concluded with a thrilling watch party for Chelsea’s match against Aston Villa at Funan’s atrium. Over 250 fans gathered to cheer on their team, joined by Zola, who celebrated alongside them. Special greetings and giveaways from Chelsea players added to the excitement, capping off an extraordinary weekend.
