Sentosa Announces Big, Big Island-wide Celebrations with Larger-than-Life Carnival and Exclusive Deals This Festive Season

This festive season, Sentosa transforms into a whimsical wonderland with its spectacular event, Sentosa Presents: A Big, Big World. From December 9, 2024, to February 16, 2025, visitors are invited to journey through three extraordinary realms across Resorts World Sentosa (RWS), Sentosa Sensoryscape, and Palawan Beach, for a one-of-a-kind immersive experience like no other.

As part of this island-wide transformation, guests can explore evolving interactive installations and enjoy a lineup of activities that span from Christmas to Chinese New Year. With around 50 exclusive deals from more than 40 Sentosa island partners, DBS and POSB debit and credit cardholders from Singapore, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, and Taiwan will enjoy special discounts and offers throughout the event.

This year marks the debut of the Sentosa Precinct Partnership, a collaboration between Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC), Resorts World Sentosa (RWS), DBS Bank (DBS), and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB). Together, they aim to elevate Sentosa’s status as Asia’s premier island resort getaway and a top-tier lifestyle destination.

A Big, Big World of Excitement at Resorts World Sentosa

Resorts World Sentosa will host four fantastical zones inspired by England, France, Germany, and Japan. Each zone features massive installations, such as a towering 8.5-meter hot air balloon in the France zone and a 7.8-meter cuckoo clock in the Germany zone, offering perfect photo ops for all. Expect enchanting light displays, snowfall effects, and iconic structures like the Eiffel Tower projected onto a giant LED pyramid. Guests can shop exclusive festive treats and goods while enjoying traditional games and live performances by Christmas carollers from The A Cappella Society, Vox Camerata, and more. Additionally, handmade gifts from i’mable Collective, an initiative supporting artists with disabilities, will be sold, with all proceeds going toward the collective’s cause.

The festivities at RWS will run from December 9, 2024, to January 2, 2025, before being refreshed for the Chinese New Year season from January 19 to February 16, 2025.

A Big, Big World of Dreams at Sentosa Sensoryscape

Connecting RWS to Palawan Beach, the Sentosa Sensoryscape offers whimsical experiences like the Cloud Swing Dreams, where giant swings evoke a sense of childlike wonder. As night falls, ImagiNite brings this space to life with interactive light projections and augmented reality, creating an unforgettable sensory adventure. From December 22 to 25, catch exciting performances by local talents such as Bellingham, Stephen Francis & Friends, and The Apex Project Acapella Singapore Group.

A Big, Big World of Discovery at Palawan Beach

Palawan Beach will host the Flight of Wishes, a daytime kite fiesta where guests can craft and fly their own kites, culminating in a colorful spectacle. By night, the Floating Marvels will light up the sky with massive inflatable sea creatures like jellyfish and manta rays, each up to 15 meters in size. This stunning audiovisual display, curated by Myles Ziebart, will be an awe-inspiring sight that celebrates Sentosa’s coastal charm.
