Celebrate the Holidays with Roku Gin: Vibrant Pop-Ups, Festive Cocktails, and Creative Collaborations

This holiday season, Roku Gin, premium craft gin from The House of Suntory, invites you to embrace the art of celebration through a series of exciting pop-ups, workshops, and collaborations. Inspired by its “Come Alive with the Seasons” campaign starring Elle Fanning, Roku Gin captures the essence of Japanese shun—when nature is at its most vibrant—through thoughtfully curated events and experiences.

Discover Nature-Inspired Creativity with Roku Gin x Soilboy

Kick off the festivities with the Roku Gin Garden Arrangement Workshop, an exclusive collaboration with local plant design studio Soilboy. Held at New Bahru from 11–14 December, this 90-minute session blends mixology and creativity. Participants will sip on a curated selection of Roku Gin cocktails, including:

  • Roku Sakura Gin & Tonic: Delicate spring-inspired notes with invigorating freshness.
  • Roku Sencha Garden: Highlighting the green tea botanical for a refined, uplifting aroma.

The workshop includes a DIY mini-garden activity, perfect for festive bonding with friends and family. At $98 nett, attendees will also receive a 200ml limited-edition Roku Gin miniature bottle.

Sign-ups open here on 30 November.

Roku Gin at New Bahru’s ECA: Merry Market

From 6–8 December, Roku Gin takes center stage at ECA: Merry Market, a lively marketplace featuring over 30 brands. Here’s what to expect:

  • Complimentary Roku Sakura Gin & Tonic: Redeem with a minimum spend of $50 at New Bahru.
  • Festive Installation: A stunning display inspired by Roku’s six botanicals, perfect for holiday photo ops.
  • Come Alive 360 Bar: Watch mixology come to life with top bartenders like Alvin Koh (Nutmeg & Clove) and Charlie Kim (MO Bar) presenting limited-edition cocktails at $15 each, available 6–7 December from 5 PM–7 PM.
  • Roku Shun Bar: Outside San Shu Gong, enjoy two Roku Gin cocktails ($9–$12) and complimentary servings with qualifying purchases.

Celebrating the Spirit of Shun

Each Roku Gin event pays homage to its six signature Japanese botanicals—Sakura flower, Sakura leaf, Sencha tea, Gyokuro tea, Sansho pepper, and Yuzu peel—meticulously distilled to create a harmonious balance of fresh, floral flavors. The recommended serve? A Roku Gin & Tonic, garnished with freshly cut ginger sticks for a crisp, refreshing twist.
