Hennessy rings in the Year of the Snake with an exquisite limited-edition Lunar New Year collection designed by Shanghai-based fashion designer Shuting Qiu. Inspired by the vitality of spring and her Chinese heritage, Qiu transforms Hennessy’s iconic V.S.O.P, X.O, and Paradis bottles into masterpieces that blend traditional floral motifs with modern artistic flair.
Titled “Reimagination,” the collection celebrates timeless luxury, cultural pride, and sustainable artistry. Whether as a festive gift or to savor during reunion dinners, the exclusive collection will be available at major supermarkets starting December 20, 2024.
Shuting Qiu’s designs pay homage to the vibrant colors and intricate textiles of her hometown, Hangzhou. The bottles feature snake-scale patterns and floral symbols, inspired by jacquard and embroidery techniques, while the color red anchors the collection in cultural significance. The snake motif subtly reflects the sinuous Charente River in Cognac, symbolizing fluidity and strength.
Hennessy’s history of artistic collaborations, including notable partnerships with Yang Long Liang and Yan Pei-Ming, continues with this collection, showcasing the brand’s dedication to blending heritage with contemporary creativity.
Each bottle in the collection boasts unique features:
These collectible bottles serve as stunning centerpieces and thoughtful gifts for the season. For celebrations, pair them with Hennessy’s custom cocktail, “The Snake”—a mix of Hennessy V.S.O.P, fresh ginger, lemon juice, honey, and ginger bitters, garnished with a lemon twist.
In Singapore, the Lunar New Year collection will be available from major supermarkets starting December 20, 2024. Fans can also visit the Crafted by Hennessy Pop-Up from January 13–26, 2025, to shop the collection and explore its artistic allure firsthand.
