As Singles’ Day (11.11) approaches, foodpanda is celebrating Singapore’s steadfast love affair with food by spotlighting solo dining.
The popular food and grocery delivery platform has revealed its top ‘meal for one’ orders, showcasing Singapore’s favourite dishes and the districts with the most enthusiastic solo diners.
Launched to bring both ease and value to solo dining, foodpanda’s ‘meal for one’ feature offers set meals priced from just $9.99, with no minimum spend required. Each order includes a main and a choice of side or drink, catering to those looking for a fuss-free dining experience, whether they’re dining solo or simply seeking a tailored meal option.
The data highlights Singapore’s preference for classic, easy-to-enjoy meals.
Pizza Hut leads with its popular My Box, featuring a personal pan pizza, side, and drink, a top choice for solo diners across the island.
McDonald’s dominates the list with three of its iconic meals: the Double McSpicy Meal, the Quarter Pounder with Cheese Meal, and the Chicken McCrispy (2pc) Spicy Meal, securing second, third, and fifth places, respectively.
Rounding out the top five, KFC’s Zinger Solo Meal clinches fourth place, proving that the decades-old favourite remains a hit among local foodies.
Data from foodpanda reveals the neighborhoods with the most solo dining orders. Leading the list are Singapore’s northern districts of Sengkang and Ang Mo Kio. Representing the west, Bukit Panjang ranks third. If you are looking for a date in Singapore, do consider someone from these three districts.
Beyond the dining experience, foodpanda is giving customers a chance to win a $10,000 Klook E-Gift Card.
