Support Mental Health Film Festival Singapore 2024 – Limited Tickets Left

The fifth edition of the Mental Health Film Festival Singapore (MHFFS) tickets are in high demand and selling out fast, just a few screenings remain. Running from November 7 to 10 at Golden Village Suntec City, MHFFS has already sold out four of its six feature films, leaving only two screenings still available. This year’s theme, “Building Bridges to Mental Well-being,” brings six powerful international films and a selection of short films from the Short Film Youth Competition (SFYC) to audiences, fostering important discussions on mental health through the art of film.

Exploring Mental Health Through Film

Under this year’s theme, MHFFS highlights the experiences of those navigating mental health journeys, from individuals to caregivers. The two final screenings, Deep Sea (深海) and A Bunch of Amateurs, dive deep into themes of depression, anxiety, and resilience. Acclaimed director Kim Hopkins’ A Bunch of Amateurs explores the power of community and connection in today’s digital landscape, while Deep Sea, a stunning visual masterpiece by China’s Tian Xiaopeng, tells the story of Shenxiu, a young girl on a journey to reconnect with her mother. Following each film, post-screening discussions with mental health professionals and individuals with lived experiences provide audiences with insights and strategies for building more supportive communities.

Tickets are S$15 and can be purchased here.
