HONOR Singapore has unveiled its latest smartphone, the HONOR X9c, bringing a new benchmark in durability and technological innovation to the market.
Building on the success of the HONOR X9b, the X9c boasts impressive resilience, advanced AI features, and powerful battery capabilities, setting it apart as an adventure-ready device for Singaporean consumers.
During its Singapore press launch today, HONOR demonstrated the X9c’s extreme durability.
The phone’s new Anti-Drop Display is designed to withstand impacts from heights of up to 2 metres, made possible through ultra-tempered glass and advanced protective layers.
It is even durable enough to be used as a hammer to knock in nails without damage. Scratch-resistant and engineered to endure rugged conditions, the X9c has been certified with the SGS Five-Star reliability certification. We tested it using nails and keys to attempt to scratch the surface of the X9c and it suffered zero scratches.
In addition to physical durability, the HONOR X9c includes three layers of water resistance protection, with an IP65M rating for dust and water. This means the device can function even after being submerged, offering a reliable solution for outdoor enthusiasts and city dwellers alike. Whether exposed to rain or accidental spills, the phone remains operational under various conditions, including cooking in a boiling hotpot without damage.
HONOR has equipped the X9c with a groundbreaking 6600mAh silicon-carbon battery, providing up to three days of usage on a single charge.
With 66W HONOR SuperCharge capability, users can quickly recharge and keep moving. This long-lasting battery is complemented by an AI Super Power Saving Mode, which allows for up to 58 minutes of call time even when the battery level falls to 2%, ensuring essential connectivity in emergencies.
The X9c’s 6.78-inch OLED display brings impressive clarity with a peak HDR brightness of 4000 nits, making it easily viewable in direct sunlight. Its eye-comfort features, including PWM Dimming and Circadian Night Display, aim to reduce eye strain, ideal for users spending extended periods on their phones.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the X9c’s 108MP ultra-sensing camera, which offers three portrait modes and 3x lossless zoom. Enhanced by AI features like Motion Sensing and AI Eraser, the camera provides an advanced photography experience for capturing high-quality images even in challenging environments.
The HONOR X9c, designed with a slim, titanium finish, will be available in three colors: Titanium Purple, Titanium Black, and Jade Cyan.
