Deliveroo Singapore Expands to Retail with New ‘Deliveroo Shopping’ Feature, Marking 9th Anniversary Milestone

Deliveroo Singapore celebrates its 9th anniversary with a major expansion into retail delivery, launching ‘Deliveroo Shopping’ to meet Singapore’s growing demand for convenient, on-demand retail options. The new feature adds a variety of non-food items alongside Deliveroo’s established restaurant and grocery services, enabling users to shop for beauty products, baby care essentials, electronics, flowers, health supplies, and pet care all from a single app.

This launch aligns with insights from Deliveroo’s recent Consumer Survey, which revealed that over half of users (53%) are interested in ordering non-food items through food delivery platforms. Now, with the ‘Shopping’ section on the app, Deliveroo customers can access popular brands like LUSH, Xpressflower, The Body Shop, Vitakids, and more. Pet Lovers Centre, a leading pet care provider, is also set to join in the coming months, ensuring customers have even more options at their fingertips.

New Gifting Features to Make Shopping More Convenient

Deliveroo Shopping introduces a unique gifting function that allows users to mark orders as gifts and send them directly to recipients with a personalized, trackable link and animated greeting card. This enhancement is well-timed, as Deliveroo has observed a 55% increase in demand for gift deliveries, particularly for last-minute needs.

Backed by machine learning, the app’s search and discovery feature offers curated recommendations for special occasions like birthdays, enabling users to find the perfect gift effortlessly. By analyzing consumer trends, Deliveroo Shopping also helps retail partners tailor promotions, improving visibility and engagement.

Launch Promotions and Exclusive Discounts

To mark the launch, Deliveroo is offering $1 delivery fees daily from 5 pm to 9 pm across food and retail orders until December 9. Deliveroo Plus subscribers can enjoy up to 30% off on select retail brands, while all users receive discounts of up to 20%. Trust Bank customers can also earn 6% cashback on purchases made through the app with the Trust Cashback card.

  • Craving pizza that doesn’t break the bank but still tastes amazing? This place has you covered! I found it while searching for good deals, and their promotions caught my eye. I’m so glad I stopped by because their pizza is seriously top-notch. The crust was thin and perfectly crispy, and the toppings tasted fresh and full of flavor. It’s clear they put thought into every ingredient, and the portions are perfect, especially when you’re hungry. I love that they have options for everyone, and it’s a great spot to visit with friends or family. Make sure to check out their pizza promotions so you don’t miss out on the latest deals—they make every visit even more worth it!
