Indomie, the popular Indonesian instant noodle brand, has announced the appointment of K-pop sensation NewJeans as its Global Brand Ambassador.
This collaboration aims to introduce a fresh, youthful energy to the brand through a global campaign titled Oh My Good! It’s Indomie, targeting a new generation of consumers worldwide.
NewJeans, celebrated for their dynamic music and visuals, will serve as the new face of Indomie.
Known for its over 50-year history, Indomie is available in more than 100 countries and was recently recognised as The Most Chosen Instant Noodle Brand in the World and The Most Chosen Halal Instant Noodle Brand in Kantar’s Brand Footprint report.
Indomie has maintained a top-three ranking in the global food brand category for eight consecutive years.
Axton Salim, Director of PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP), expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “NewJeans resonates with both K-pop fans and a wider global audience, aligning with Indomie’s energetic and uplifting character. This partnership allows us to reach the young, dynamic generation globally.”
In addition to a global television commercial, the Oh My Good! It’s Indomie campaign will feature interactive activities worldwide, with LED billboards launching in Singapore on 8 November at popular locations such as Bugis Street, Orchard Gateway, and Chinatown Point. NewJeans also shared their excitement about the collaboration through a video greeting, marking the start of several upcoming campaign activities.
