Discover Vancouver’s Winter Magic: Air Canada Adds Fifth Flight for Winter Season

This Canadian Thanksgiving, Air Canada’s Asia team extends heartfelt thanks to the travelers and media partners in Singapore who have supported the Singapore-Vancouver route since its April 2024 launch. Due to the route’s growing popularity, the airline is thrilled to announce an additional flight for the winter travel season, offering even more seamless connections between Singapore and Vancouver.

Air Canada’s award-winning service now includes five non-stop flights weekly, perfectly timed for the winter peak travel period. Along with connecting Singapore to Vancouver, these flights open convenient gateways to other Canadian cities and beyond. As Vancouver continues to rise in global travel rankings—recognized as one of Forbes’ 100 Best Cities to Visit in 2023—the city has become a go-to destination for Singaporeans seeking new travel adventures.

Why Vancouver is the Ultimate Winter Destination

Singaporean travelers, known for their post-pandemic wanderlust, are increasingly drawn to wellness retreats, solo adventures, and slow travel, as highlighted by recent Google and Visa surveys. Vancouver, with its blend of outdoor activities, culinary excellence, and wellness experiences, offers something for everyone:

  • For Families: Vancouver is a safe, vibrant hub for family-friendly activities. From indoor play areas to year-round outdoor adventures, it’s a city that keeps kids and parents entertained.
  • For Foodies: The city’s culinary scene is renowned, boasting 10 Michelin-starred restaurants in the 2024 MICHELIN Guide Vancouver. Seasonal fall-winter menus feature local delicacies like Pacific oysters and BC sea urchin, with top chefs like David Hawksworth curating dishes both on the ground and in the air.
  • For Wellness Seekers: Vancouver’s wellness scene is second to none, with over 1,500 weekly yoga classes and a range of rejuvenation experiences, from nature escapes to exclusive spa packages.
