Cosentino, a Spanish manufacturer of innovative surface materials, has recently introduced two new collections under its Dekton and Silestone XM brands at an exclusive event in Singapore.
The unveiling took place on 10 October 2024 at Cosentino City Singapore, where attendees were presented with a showcase featuring a wide range of applications, from wall cladding to furniture, all designed to inspire creative architectural and interior solutions.
The new collections both highlight sustainability, a growing trend in the interior and architectural design worlds.
The Silestone XM Le Chic Bohème line, was introduced as a step forward in veined-patterned surfacing. This collection reinterprets the timeless beauty of natural stone, infused with modern luxury and sustainability, thanks to Cosentino’s Hybriq technology. This hybrid mineral surface includes at least 20% recycled materials and is manufactured using 100% renewable energy and 99% recycled water, making it a perfect choice for eco-conscious consumers.
Inspired by Parisian elegance, this newest collection offers four colour options, Jardin Emerald, Rivière Rose, Château Brown andBlanc Élysée that combine classical charm with a contemporary edge:
Dekton’s Pietra Edition, designed by renowned architect Daniel Germani, also launched at the event, pays homage to Mediterranean natural stones. The ultra-compact surface blends modern technology with the timeless elegance of natural stone, while maintaining cradle-to-grave carbon neutrality.
This collection reinterprets the timeless beauty of three classic Italian stones—Vicenza, Travertine, and Ceppo di Gré—offering a contemporary design combined with the durability and sustainability of Dekton surfaces.
Germani expressed his inspiration behind the collection, stating, “I spent a lot of time decoding each stone’s history in Italian architecture and reimagined them in a contemporary design with all of the benefits of Dekton.”
“Pietra Kode showcases luxury in the small, understated details. It’s designed with the future in mind and compliments any space in a way that won’t go out of style.” Added Germani.
Guests at the launch enjoyed a sophisticated evening with excellent food and wine while exploring the endless possibilities these collections offer for contemporary design.
