Haw Ror Villa 3 Returns: Bigger, Scarier, and Spookier at Haw Par Villa This October!

Get ready for spine-tingling thrills this Halloween as Haw Ror Villa 3 returns to Haw Par Villa and Hell’s Museum for two haunting weekends on October 18, 19, 25, and 26, 2024. Following the success of last year’s event, this year’s edition promises to be even larger, scarier, and packed with more chilling experiences across three terrifying zones.

Zone 1: Escape the Judges’ Wrath – A Hell’s Museum Escape Room

Hell’s Museum transforms into a nightmarish escape room where participants must solve ghostly riddles, unlock AR-enhanced clues, and escape the Judges of Hell. Created by art collective 2point013, this scare zone will test your nerves as you navigate through torturous paths while keeping your focus sharp.

Zone 2: The Villa Has Eyes – An Interactive Ghostly Guided Tour

Walk through Haw Par Villa after dark, where the chilling breeze will remind you that the Villa is watching. Become a rookie detective in this interactive tour, guided by professional actors, as you solve a grisly murder that occurred 83 years ago. But beware—you might become the next victim!

Zone 3: The Shaman’s Bazaar

Take a break from the scares and visit The Shaman’s Bazaar, where local artisans offer mystical items, including tarot card readings and jagua tattoos. Grab delicious bites like Honey Gochujang Chicken Bites or BBQ Beef Chipotle Nachos, and sip on spooky-themed cocktails like the Bloody Eye Ball, courtesy of Creative Eateries. Plus, ticket holders receive a complimentary mocktail voucher!

Special Attractions

Create Your Own Horror Story: Immerse yourself in an AI-driven horror narrative adventure powered by the National Library Board’s StoryGen. This interactive experience brings Halloween-themed stories to life based on user prompts.

Lie in a Coffin and Experience Rebirth: Inspired by Thai and Korean rituals, visitors can lie in a real coffin to purge bad karma and welcome good fortune in the Rebirthing Experience Room.

Exhibition on Hungry Ghosts: Discover the traditions behind Hungry Ghosts through intricate paper exhibits and an educational gallery at the Rise of Asia Museum.
