Dongfeng Motors Launches Its First EV in Singapore – The Dongfeng Box

Dongfeng Motors (DFM) is hitting the streets of Singapore with the debut of its first electric vehicle (EV), the Dongfeng Box. Distributed exclusively by Volt Auto, this sleek and advanced EV, known as the Dongfeng Nammi 01 in China, will be showcased at their new showroom in Tai Seng Exchange. This marks Dongfeng Motors’ first foray into Singapore, bringing over 55 years of automotive excellence to the local market.

The Dongfeng Box is powered by the world’s first Mach Power 10-in-1 Technology, a groundbreaking innovation in the automotive industry. This technology integrates performance, connectivity, and safety, providing an enhanced driving experience for city dwellers. The EV has already made waves internationally, surpassing 10,000 export units within just two months of its launch.

Designed for Urban Life

With a blend of style and functionality, the Dongfeng Box boasts standout features such as frameless doors, an island armrest with an isle console, and a floating control panel. Premium touches like Crystal LED headlights and Ruby Double C tail lights not only improve visibility but also elevate its design. The interior offers 32 customizable ambient lighting options, adding a level of personal comfort typically found in luxury vehicles.

Built on the Quantum Architecture Platform 3, the Dongfeng Box ensures enhanced driving dynamics, safety, and energy efficiency. Its 180° reclining front seats and spacious boot make it perfect for both city commutes and weekend getaways.

The Perfect Fit for Singapore

With nearly a third of new cars in Singapore being electric, the Dongfeng Box arrives just in time for the city’s shift towards sustainable transportation. Available in seven color options, including Icy Blue, Aurora Purple, Sunlit Green, and Twilight White, the Dongfeng Box is priced from $148,888 during the launch promotion.

Looking ahead, Volt Auto plans to introduce more Dongfeng models to Singapore, including the eπ 007 and other SUVs, over the next two years. As Singapore continues its push towards greener transportation, the Dongfeng Box is set to provide eco-conscious drivers with more choices in electric mobility.
