Cathay Pacific Expands North America Network with New Dallas Fort Worth Route

Cathay Pacific launches its first-ever non-stop flights between Hong Kong and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), expanding its North America network even further. Starting 24 April 2025, this new service will mark Cathay Pacific’s sixth U.S. destination and eighth in North America, strengthening the airline’s global reach and reinforcing Hong Kong as a premier international aviation hub.

Cathay Pacific currently operates 88 return flights per week to key North American cities like Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Toronto, and Vancouver. To complement this network, the new DFW route will feature four weekly return flights, using the modern Airbus A350-1000.

In addition to the new Dallas route, Cathay Pacific is boosting its North American services in 2025. By May, the airline will offer 108 return flights per week, including three daily return flights to New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, along with daily returns to Boston and Chicago. In Canada, Vancouver will see two daily return flights, and Toronto will receive 13 return flights per week.

Cathay Pacific’s new Dallas passenger service will also complement its existing Cathay Cargo freighter flights to the city. With growing demand during the peak air cargo season, Cathay Cargo has added five more weekly return freighter flights to North America, now operating up to 37 flights per week.

Since launching its first North American route to Vancouver in 1983, Cathay Pacific has demonstrated its strong commitment to connecting this vital region with the world, continually enhancing its global network.
