Countdown to gamescom Asia 2024: PlayStation, Neopets, and More Join CAPCOM in Singapore

The excitement is building as Gamescom Asia 2024 gears up to take over the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre from October 17 to 20. With over 150 global exhibitors, this year’s lineup is packed with big names, including PlayStation, Neopets, and CAPCOM, making it one of the region’s biggest gaming events.

CAPCOM fans are in for a treat with the CAPCOM Pro Tour 2024 SUPER PREMIER SINGAPORE taking center stage. The two players reaching the finals will secure coveted spots at the CAPCOM CUP 11. Attendees can also dive into CAPCOM’s universe through demo stations featuring games like Monster Hunter Wilds, Street Fighter 6, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, and MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics.

Other game highlights include preview opportunities from 4Divinity, such as S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, JDM: Japanese Drift Master, and Mandragora. Plus, Neopets is making a splash, showcasing their new merchandise and mobile games, including Faerie Fragments and Tales of Dacardia.

For indie game lovers, this year’s Indie Wavemakers area will be bigger than ever, with over 50 hidden gems ready to be discovered, including Let’s Build a Dungeon and Mars Attracts. Visitors can meet the developers and explore new worlds in these genre-defying titles.

The Main Stage promises electric entertainment with appearances from BAFTA-winning voice actor Andrew Wincott, a Cosplay Competition judged by international stars, and live panels with industry icons like Monster Hunter producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and Street Fighter 6 director Takayuki Nakayama.

It’s not just about gaming. Visitors can shop for the latest gear from SHARP and Varmilo, experience retro arcades, or get hands-on with tabletop games at Origame and HammerHouse. Gamescom Asia 2024 will open its business area for industry professionals on October 17 and 18, with the entertainment zone opening to the public from October 18 to 20.
